I always forget Yamaha! they do good stuff! picks and straps are easy to come by, you don't need to worry about strap locks until it's a problem.

re picks, get a mixed set, you'll find that between a 1.1 and .45mm variety set is probably best, you don't need many, and having a selection will help you find the thickness you prefer.
