Yeah, you're comparing a 5 day food supply to 30 day food supply. Even if we assume the extras are useful, it's not a good deal.
A cursory look on Amazon yields:
9 day worth of SOS Rations, $20.45 (vs 5 days)
Ammo Box, $5.98
100 Aquatabs, $9.90 (vs 10)
10 1-gallon mylar pouches, $8.99 (vs 1 small bag)
Similarly stocked survival tin, $15.50
Now I already have more things and I'm only at around $60.
I have one of these. I like the one I have. It's similar to the common 30 cal size, but it's smaller. Officially, they hold 4 boxes of 45 or 5 boxes of 9. That's pretty close to 2k rounds of 22. It looks like amazon is out of stock, but you can probably get them elsewhere online. That said, I would still use the regular plano 30 cal size (or the harbor freight ones). The weight difference isn't much, the availability is higher, and you can often get them cheaper. I just wouldn't load them full to keep the weight manageable. The plano ones used to be $4.88 from amazon and Walmart, maybe they will be again. The harbor freight ones should tolerate the lighter duty you seem to want, and occasionally they have coupons/sales to get them down to $2.99 each. Good luck.
I use a midway usa bag and its held up great over the years. They can be had for under $50 if you wait for the right sale. On a big range trip (more than just shooting 1 gun to test ammo, etc) mine usually hold 4+ pistols, mags, speed loaders, eyes/ears, small tools, a small bottle of oil/cleaner and medical. Ammo usually goes in a separate can like this because the bag can get cumbersome and heavy when you overload it.
One major thing people overlook is medical/trauma gear. For me it's as simple as a CAT tourniquet, a pack of celox hemostatic gauze, and an israeli bandage.
