I put cardboard and garbage bags under to make a wet barrier- a lot of the reviews show how fragile they are but none of mine came broken. I think I am going to replace the cardboard with plywood to reinforce it a little. It is fine with the cat’s weight but if my boyfriend accidentally kicks it (likely) I’m afraid it will definitely break 🤗
