Hi! I'm a wheelchair user currently in college. Here are some things I've done to my chair that I would recommend.

• Hi vis tape or bands to attach to your chair so you can be seen more easily at night or in high-traffic areas.
• Hand sanitizer and wet wipes. I have a squeeze bottle of hand sanitizer rigged to my frame with these hooks.
• A cup/phone holder makes life so much easier.
• Underseat bag for misc things, like maintenance tools or gloves. I would highly recommend having a pair of gloves if you don't already.
• I keep an airtag in my wheelchair's seat cushion lining just in case.

A few other things:

• A power assist would probably be very helpful. I can't speak to it yet because I'm in the process of getting one.
• Stroller and bike products often are compatible with wheelchairs but aren't as expensive.

I really like this one and it also holds large phones. It's plastic and does crack over time but then I just get another one. I use a 22 oz aluminum water bottle and have a Pixel 6 pro phone so all together pretty heavy but no problems holding it
