Thank you for your response, recommendations and the information. I have a follow up question for you. Will the MK4 from Sennheiser (mic) run into that issue? I’m not sure if this mic requires a phantom power. Does the Akai force do everything the MPC X and MPC Live II can do? From my limited research the Akai Force can do everything all of the other Akai MPC’s can do and some. If that is not the case I might have purchased the wrong machine. I was under the impression the only difference was the work flow.
