Learn how to do a guitar setup from YouTube. Simple is adjusting intonation, bridge string height, and neck tension. Medium is filing off sharp fret edges. You should be able to learn these quickly and do them pretty easily. They should help a lot with most of what’s wrong with a new cheap guitar.

Harder setup tasks are changing string height at the nut, and leveling frets. This should probably be left to others unless you are willing to possibly wreck a neck as you learn.
