IMO, goggles are only needed if you're riding in very choppy conditions, but they can come in handy when riding in the rain.

I carry a set of spark plugs with the tools necessary to replace them.

Tow rope in case my ski or or someone else becomes disabled.

For dock lines, I use basic nylon rope with scissor snaps.
