Where did you buy them? I've been looking at the Zinus Ironline/Suzanne and the green tea mattress, and together they're about $600.
If you're on a budget...don't buy from the store because you don't want to pay for the store.
Get this 12 inch memory foam mattress from Amazon for $239.00
Get this bed frame from Amazon for $35.99
Go to any cheap discount mattress company and get a queen box spring. This is key. Spending the extra $50 to $100 on the box spring makes the mattress 3X better.
Out to the door, you're less than $400.
Same brand, we just bought this mattress and it's great. I'm not sure what the difference really is but it's so squishy and wonderful! Hopefully it stays that way in the long-run. :)
I just furnished a whole house for $6k, and it makes $3k a month. Dont Cheap out on ANYTHING!
The biggest thing is the bed. I found amazing quality mattresses that every complements for under $200
This bed! https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Memory-Green-Mattress-Queen/dp/B00Q7EPSHI/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1JDHDHYEA3CGU&keywords=memory+foam+mattress&qid=1560568343&s=home-garden&sprefix=Memo%2Caps%2C177&sr=1-3 The cost was extremely reasonable and omg, I’ve never slept half as well as I have since buying this mattress, and it’s like 1/4 the price of my last mattress! I can’t even describe the feeling, its like you’re literally weightless, kinda just floating. Sometimes I just lay on it when I’m not even tired just so I can be comfortable.
However it might not work well for someone who has a very bad back, as it’s pretty soft
I used Amazon and bought a 12" thick memory foam mattress. I paid $289 for the Queen size 18 months ago. They vacuum compress it for shipping so it's not terribly unwieldy to carry into the house.
