I've never seen those before, interesting design. I think it would reduce the risk of accidentally catching someone's pet but I also wish those tunnels were a bit longer. They might be worth a try.

If you want something really sturdy you can spend a little more and get one or two of these: https://www.amazon.com/Protecta-EVO-Express-Bait-Station/dp/B008SCRAPK They hold two rat traps of the type you're looking to buy (you can do an image search for that model to see how they fit), the traps are almost impossible to reach by sticking a hand/paw inside the opening, and the case is very solid. There are other bait box designs that are cheaper but this is by far the most user friendly one I know of.
