I haven't used one before, but here's the proper link: http://www.amazon.com/Honey-Bee-Extractor/dp/B006UKP0PE/
This review makes me think it's not a great idea:
Works, but made of hazardous materials., March 25, 2013
This tiny extractor is made of PVC, which has traces of the chemicals used in its manufacture still embedded inside the plastic itself. Normally, with PVC products, these traces dont cause a problem. But if you place liquid butane on pvc, those traces get extracted right out into the butane, and are left behind in your extract oil.
Never, ever, use plastic to handle liquid butane. If you cannot afford an all glass extraction tube (No rubber gaskets!), spend 15 bucks and get a 2 foot section of copper tubing, 1 inch diameter, and a matching end cap. With these you can assemble your own (much larger, safer, and more effective) extraction tube, for cheaper no less!
