FIVE returns - ALL with the same IR bleed issue! ??? Yikes, worst case I've heard and really bad luck. You would think by now Amcrest would recall the whole lot.
I have one of the very first AD410's and it has no IR problem, but then - I don't even use it's Night Vision. My porch is brightly lit and so I get full color at night, which is nice.
A cheaper alternative you may want to consider is to turn NightVision OFF via the app and install an IR LED to illuminate the porch/yard instead. I use this model ($30 Amazon) for other cameras I have, and they get a lot more area illuminated at night. You will need to figure out where to plug in the 120V>12v transformer.
EDIT: I just now realized I had responded to another post of yours a week or so ago and had cautioned you to check for this IR glare! Huh, maybe that refurb(?) from Ebay would have been fine. Sheesh.
Your link wasn't working for me, so here's the fix for anybody else that has the same problem:

I don’t have to tell you that Alaskan winters are pretty harsh. You want the camera enclosed as much as possible, so it’ll be insulated.
Go for one that’s enclosed the most and use an independent outdoor IR light for night vision. The independent IR light will probably be more powerful than the one built into the camera, so you’ll also have that benefit.

Bought this cheap security light it use on the quad. Works pretty well for a stroll through the woods. Tho I have nothing else to compare it to.
