I have a similar problem. Even though I likely have a smaller head size than you, 6 7/8 to 7 hat size, almost every helmet I tried on dug into my temples too much too. I ended up trying on an Easton E700, and it fit perfectly. They're around $159, $179 w/cage at my LHS, but I was able to find it on Amazon (oddly enough from the LHS's Amazon store) for $129 w/cage.

It's an extremely light, extremely comfortable helmet, AND it has removable pads so you take them out and wash the funk outta them.

Oh and it comes in matte colors. Looks pretty badass. But obviously try it on first somewhere if you can.
