take a look at the sidebar, there are approximate prices listed next to each camera
i've gifted a viofo a129 pro duo in the past with success and would recommend it as it's right at your budget (although on the top end)
my screen on amazon shows a $50 coupon to clip to bring the price down some plus add the hardwire kit, an sd card, and an add-a-fuse (mini or low profile size depending on what's in her car) should bring you right to $250 after taxes
FYI, I have used cheap micro SD cards not designed for "endurance" purposes, recording 24/7, and had them last several years before dying. I recently used a 5+ year old SD card, Class 4, and it lasted like 3 years recording 24/7 at 1080p.
I personally would buy cheaper SD cards (regular class 10 cards are more then enough for 1080p or even 1440p+ video), or I'd get ones with higher capacity for the same price, but if you want to buy that particular one, make sure to get the proper listing sold by amazon. Your link is a 3rd party seller for $20 when it normally sells for $10.
