So the Amazon order came in early. And I was wrong in the USB cabling decision. So mad scramble to get the correct cabling. Add in that I decided to upgrade my motherboard to a MSI X570s Tomahawk Wifi Max. Definitely more USB options onboard. :)

Here's what I am going to try:

Internal MB USB 3.0 Adapter

Then the cable from the adapter to display

USB 3.0 Type A to micro USB cable

I am hoping that the adapter fits the mb without conflicting with other cabling etc. I just got word that the Aliexpress version should arrive between now and Dec 10th. It is here and past customs, so it really is remarkably fast in arrival,. Now if the US shipper doesn't drop the ball I might see it in the next week or so.
