Your headphones have the aptX, and aptX HD features, which are audio latency reducing features.
If you intend to watch Netflix, YouTube, ... while listening to the audio via your headphones, the aptX feature is what you want, so the audio doesn't lag behind the video.
Your headphones, and latest MS Windows versions support aptX.
Although the ASUS BT400 doesn't feature aptX natively, the aptX feature should work thru it as on long as MS Windows 10 has the aptX feature, which the latest version does.

However, if you want to use aptX HD, which gives better sound quality, you'll need a Bluetooth adapter that includes that feature natively, like this one from Creative:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. It is possible to advance the audio on the android tv box that I'm using, though I was hoping not to have to do that with the BT setup. Creative has a BT transmitter (BT-W3) where one can select the codec to use (with the compatible headphones of course which should have aptx-ll enabled if i wanted the lowest latency) but it's designed for the Switch/PS4 (https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Indicator-Selection/dp/B089PYFLBN). Just thinking that it would be nice to have something like that for my TV setup
