Intermittent signal, might be a cable issue. Loose connection somewhere, especially near the jack.

Try replacing the cymbal cables with new cables. (Get Right angle to Right Angle-6 feet-TRS cables, so that the angled connectors plug easily into your cymbal & module )

Also clean the connectors on the cymbal and the module with a dry thin bristle paint brush.
