For reference, I use these kits and I just follow the instructions on them while loosely attempting to keep the chems around 102 degrees.

Do you have any tips for someone like me that's been doing it for a year?

What chemicals do you use? Do you buy in bulk? I'm thinking I can be saving money on chemicals but I can't find a way to yet.
