Idk about the newer gen2, but both my gen1s had an auxiliary circuit coming out right by the headlight.

One black with yellow trace and red(or brown) white trace. They are bullet connectors with a clear sleeve.

I just happen to have added a 2 port cigarette lighter similar to this (https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Accessories-18003-Under-Mount/dp/B01ACD3FS8) to the top of my gauge cluster the other day. Mine has rubber flip caps to cover the ports though. Used adhesive backed snap ‘velcro’ stuff; this way I can pull it off or do something different later.

Voltage won’t be great (metered just under 12v in the sockets) with the older bikes but it’s plenty for charging something after you put in a 5V usb plug or something similar.
