I can break down a chicken with my bare hands. Turkeys are much harder to break down. You might invest in a pair of gardening pruners if you don't have a need for good knives, much more powerful than kitchen scissors. I'd let the first one thaw completely so you can break the backbone between leg and breast first thing then you can go from there.

Wish turkey was that cheap here. And off season birds are usually the nasty over salted type as well.
