I've said this before. I've been using Skin-tac for years and it's worked perfectly. I've had the same bottle for 4-5yrs now, no joke and I use it at least every 3-4 days. get the bottle, not the wipes. the small 4oz bottle is sufficient.
the bottle cap has a small dab at the end to use and you only need a little. I use it for both my dexcom and insets for my pump. my dexcom will last at least at least 2 weeks until the edges come up. if I need it longer then I'll use a patch over it.

Some are not aware that you can get skin-tac in bottles: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008IUA6DU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_HFQJXBACX0EHBZR705AV
You can get a much more liberal barrier with it. For maximum hold, add mastisol and/or adhesive patches like simpatch.
+1 for Skin Tac. The liquid applicator is the most precise way to apply (and then you don’t have to deal with removing the mess on your fingertips that using the wipes gives you). I apply the sensor first and then lightly go once around on top of the Dexcom sensor backing (better than trying to apply directly to skin, crossing your fingers, and aiming the sensor for the middle of that spot). Cleaner than a patch IMO and it’s not coming off under any circumstances without an adhesive remover.
One bottle of this, one bottle of Uni Solve and a bag of cotton balls and you’re good to go for years.
Good luck!
