I'd verify what I am going to say if I were you. I read something about the Lincoln that one has to buy some kit to update the mp210 to add full footpedal TIG capability. The Lincoln Kit appears to cost $800 US on Amazon
And it appears that the user has to do an upgrade to the machine to get full TIG utility: I think this is the upgrade process
It appears there may be a compatible substitute kit from Nova Welding for about $300 US on Amazon
Check all the above out - I've never set up the TIG functions on the Lincoln mp210. I may be off base.
I have used the MIG functions on the Lincoln. They work well. It has screen based layers of menus. I suspect those would help someone get started who doesn't have much experience dialing in the best settings. Probably many people would prefer just dialing in settings as simply as possible without the screen interface.
