Disclaimer: I’m not into bright colors or overly cutesy things on me, so all of these bags are gonna be talking about the black version of whatever bag I’ve linked you to.

I’ve actually got several itabags; my starter: the kitty ears backpack from Amazon that you have to make an insert for or just pin directly to the material, my comic convention bag: a black crossbody with a removable insert which I also got from Amazon, and my everyday bag: the Moon Itabag from Dual Wield Studio that comes with a removable insert.

As far as quality goes, the kitty backpack was on its last legs after two uses, the crossbody is still holding up (probably due to lack of use), and the Duel Wield bag is also on its last legs after about 15 months, but it was actually sent to me with an error that caused the backpack hanging handle bit to start coming apart after less than two months of use, so they sent me a new one to make up for the lack of quality control on the first one.

Prices range from $15-$24 for the Amazon bags, and the Moon bag is a fairly steep $75, BUT their customer service is insanely good. Any issue I’ve had with this bag (one of my straps literally yeeted itself off my back while I was riding my bike, a week before Dragoncon) has been immediately dealt with.

Speaking of customer service and everyday bags, I’m actually currently in the process of retiring my busted Moon bag and making the replacement a special occasions only bag, which means I’ve been on the hunt for a new everyday bag- and I’ve found it. Blue Robotto makes a bunch of cool geeky bags, but as I’m a pin person, I immediately went for their large sized ita messenger bag. These dudes have a website, but I’m buying through their Etsy store, which has made for easier communication. The bags have removable inserts for easier themed pinning, are $28-$33 depending on the size you want, and get this, you can purchase additional inserts for $1 each. This new bag is my birthday present to myself, so I splurged and got a black bag and 4 extra inserts (purple, blue, hot pink, and red). Depending on how this bag holds up once it gets here, I might be fully retiring my black crossbody and just taking this baby to cons.
