I ordered this case before I received my phone, and I tried to use it for about a day. The pocket dust on the face and in the back was atrocious. I really don't understand the hype around this case... Maybe I'm just being anal.

Last night I ordered a Ringke Slim and a Rhino Shield last night as I really appreciate the design of this device and want to maintain it as best as possible while providing the limited protection I need.

/r/nexus5 seems to love the Spigen case, but I really can't stand it. The back plastic on mine came scuffed and was just really off putting from the get go.

I have the Spigen Ultra Fit. I think it's a great case with the only downside being the plastic is a bit sharp on the bottom side. Other than that it has a nice soft touch feel, protects the camera, and provides separation for the screen when laid face down on surface.

It does all of that without adding much thickness. I'd recommend it, but i'm curious how the Ringke compares.

Edit: According to an Amazon review the Ringke has the same sharp plastic bottom. I agree with the reviewer in that it's sharp enough to cause a little discomfort but not enough to cut you. It all depends how you hold your phone, I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. Both cases seem very similar. Hope this helps. Since your number one priority is that the case is minimal I think you should be looking at the most minimal ones from Spigen and Ringke

I haven't gotten my Ringke Slim in yet, but it looks to be much more minimal than the other Spigen and Ringke ones already mentioned in this thread (I believe the Spigen Slim Armor is one of the bulkier ones by Spigen).

My brother uses this on his Nexus 4 and loves it; if you want a slim case for your Nexus 5, the Ringke Slim or Spigen Ultra Fit are both good options (I have the first one and have been happy with it).
