I followed this article for the new update:
https://www.reddit.com/r/nreal/wiki/index/firmwareupdate/#wiki_update_on_3.2F13.2F2023
I then clicked this link from the article:
https://www.nreal.ai/support/activationGlasses/
I then clicked on update Nreal Air button which took me to this:

****I USED MICROSOFT EDGE TO DO THE UPDATE ***
- Step 1: From this page, it downloaded the following firmware when you click the "Download the Firmware" button:
air_07.1.02.201_20230228.bin
- Step 2: I connected my Nreal Air glasses to my PC directly. This is very important. Use the cable that came with your Nreal Air. It has to be connected to the PC to do the update. It is a very special cable. You can't just use any USB Type-C cable. I clicked on "Connect" button. I got a small window where you will select the glasses. click on connect button.
- Step 3: I selected the air_07.1.02.201_20230228.bin file.
-Step 4: I clicked the "MCU Firmware Update" button. It started to update the glasses.
- Step 5: I then clicked the "DP Firmware Update". Only click this button after step 4 is done.
- Step 6: If you have the Nreal adapter then you can do the adapter update.
This is the Nreal Adapter:

This is the most important part if you have the adapter. You must connect this adapter using a USB to USB Type-c cable to update the adapter. For some reason, they require that one end must be USB only.

Good morning!
This is great info as I'm trying to connect to my Pixel 6. Thank you so much for posting it. Looks simple enough. Just to be clear though, you are using this adapter? It only works with Iphone right? So I could not use it for my Pixel 6. Or...?
I'm looking for a Pixel 6 solution.
Cheers!

Grab the NReal Air Adaptor and the Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter. Not a cheap solution, but it makes the glasses work with the iPhone without issue. I was sitting in the doctor's office just yesterday using my NReal Air glasses with my iPhone 13, watching YouTube videos to pass the time. Best that's out there at the moment, unfortunately.
