USB stuff is a fair concern, 1's pretty easy but 2 costs enough in general so I'd suggest getting a dedicated PCI card for more USB c ports if you needed a lot of them. It is another point in favor of going to microcenter if you're up for the drive, this is a sick fucking deal and look at that motherboard.

Without microcenter I probably go for this Aorus Elite for the AM5 setup, and for intel this Z690 Riptide.

In general for spending to performance you want to go midrange rather then try to make parts last forever like that. Maybe the CPU goes hard in your case depending on what kind of code sets you're looking at but you can get a 6950xt for about 700 bucks or 650 at microcenter and spend half as much. Then you can just take that half and buy another 650-700 video card in 4-5 years when you start really noticing a slowdown and get something significantly better then even a 4090.
