Instead of the ATEN USB-C KVM that only powers 1 laptop, you should look at the SIIG USB-C KVM that can power 2 laptops with the help of an extra USB-C charger.
It's a bit pricey and you won't take advantage of the KVM's DP and HDMI ports.
A cheaper solution is one of those USB-C switches available on Amazon, like the ELECABLE or the NAWEN, but you'll have to connect 2 cables to each laptop, one for the USB-C switch and another for the USB-C charger.
