Thank you. That's so wild that you can't start Spotify music from voice control. It's 2021 and these systems can do some of the craziest things, and not some of the most obvious. Sure hope Sonos doesn't have limitations like this given the price.

So does Heos actually support Chromecast? aka it can be grouped with other Chromecast capable speakers that aren't Denon Heos? e.g. a Google Home speaker. If it is Chromecast, could you not make the Denon groups in another interface such as the Google Home app (or whatever it's called)? Boy, I think you really turned me off with the idea that I have to constantly re-group speakers. I have a house full of echo devices today and I've never had that happen once, let alone all the time.

Regarding not being able to play the line-in elsewhere in Sonos, I had asked that question here https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/l00xr1/please_validate_or_invalidate_my_understanding_of/ and got the impression I could do just that. If I have to play the sound on the Sonos Amp that has the line-in that is a bummer (and stupid limitation).

Btw the Denon Home 150 does advertise Airplay, and weirdly enough on Amazon it shows Airplay 2 as a feature for the Denon DHT-s716h soundbar even though the Denon website doesn't (not sure who's right, maybe it got upgraded via firmware?). Denon does show the new Soundbar 550 to have Airplay 2 support on their website though.

Yeah I have an Echo Studio and I'm very happy with it. Kids have the 4th gen Echo and it's as good as a Sonos One. I haven't completely ruled out just going the Echo route over Sonos, but the home theater aspect is more difficult going the Echo route. They have most of the competing products for a lot cheaper.
