Assuming you don't already have an audio interface, I'd go with a USB dynamic mic like the Samson Q2U. Your voice won't sound quite as natural as it will with a condenser mic, but it will be noticeably better at reducing background noise.

The general advice is to avoid condensers full stop unless you are recording vocals and have a treated room.

There’s a few usb dynamic mics … the Samson Q2U is where I’d start tho. https://www.amazon.com/Samson-Handheld-Microphone-Recording-Podcasting/dp/B001R747SG

You would probably be better off getting a dynamic microphone for on the road. Those condenser mics will pick up a lot of room noise. I have used the atr2100USB, a little pricier, but also has XLR output as well so can work with your other gear, works with an iPhone of you have the camera connection kit (lightning to USB converter). https://www.amazon.com/Technica-ATR2100-USB-Microphone-Filter-Headphones/dp/B01HOYG0LW/ It is also branded as the Samson 2QU, a bit cheaper without the headphones etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001R747SG/

I also saw this https://www.amazon.com/CAD-U4F-Dynamic-Recording-Microphone/dp/B0167H0H5C/ which is a lot cheaper, no XLR output, haven't used one so can't comment on quality.

Are they sitting to close to each other? If so you might be able to getaway with two usb mics on the table top. something like this is cheap and would probably work. There are broadcasting headsets but none that are USB to my knowledge. You would need to buy a mix board and a DAC to go along with the headsets and pc

Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB

Thank you for your advice! I have studied the dynamic microphones in more detail and understand that this is my choice. I have a limited budget, and I’ve studied affordable dynamic microphones on Amazon, and I’m thinking of using thismodel. Do you think that would be enough to start?

I used the Blue Yeti for a long time, but had problems with it picking up too much background noise and my mech keyboard. Now I use the Samson Q2U which has great quality and I have no problems with background noise. $52 bucks on Amazon is definitely a good choice! There are some good recommendations in this guide.

The Samson Q2U is a high-quality dynamic USB microphone, and is available for around $70 on Amazon.
