Logitech C920 is the go-to webcamera but it is out of your budget unless you can find a used one.
I would personally recommend the Logitech C270. I used to own it and it works great in all scenarios. I don't know anything about the C310 so I can't tell you if it's any better or worse than the C270.
I took about 4 hours to get orientation to be done.

You have a lot more resources than you need but also outside resources isn’t something mentors and instructors recommend.

I have a couple of these these for security purposes. They work perfectly, running 2 can be real hard on the computer. They have decent low light and the video looks good.
