This is the best way to mount a GoPro - it's what most good motovloggers use (chin-mount). You want a product called sugru you can get it at Target, Walmart, etc - it's $10 for 3 packets, though you'll only use 2, plus one of the curved mounts that came with your GoPro.

Combine that with some kind of tilt-swivel ball joint mount like this one and for around $25 you can have an adjustable chin-level camera, which gives a good perspective.
