The 35 is a middle weight for me, so I can't go for serious muscle growth but I can still get a great workout, particularly for endurance. If you find the weight that works for you, then one kettlebell is enough.
If it was me, and I was in your position, knowing what I know now, and given your price range. Also, depending on your goals. I would get two of these and pay the additional $2.18 out of pocket. Doubles work has been very beneficial for me.
