Trash is for Tossers inspired me to use this shampoo bar to cut down on the plastic I throw out.

It works just fine. It lasts a really long time. Natural ingredients, no chemistry lessons in the ingredients list.

I wish conditioner came that way as well, so I could avoid another plastic bottle. The bar really dries my hair out so I need the conditioner with it.

I made the switch to natural shampoos ~a year ago, and that's when I found JR Liggett shampoo bars. I have quite thick straight hair that used to frizz out every time I washed my hair (back before I knew that conditioner was a thing). I pair the shampoo with Burt's Bees conditioner, and my hair has loved me for it. Even if I don't use conditioner, the shampoo doesn't cause my hair to go haywire.

Both brands have a couple different options, those are just my personal favorites right now.
