I've got the weightman from amazon. It fits on the drip tray without hanging over. It can fit my espresso cups under my double spout portafilter when I'm splitting into two cups but not when trying to get both streams into one. With just the one, the cup isn't wide/short enough unfortunately. I wish there was a bit more space between the spouts and tray but if you have a bottomless for single cups this shouldn't be an issue.
This weightman has open seams around the display and buttons that let coffee and water in.
Using a bottomless portafilter on a gaggia classic can be a bit messy sometimes. Nature of the beast. The Kitchen Tour in the photo has a membrane surface covering the buttons and display. I can’t see any gaps for liquid to seep into.
I imagine there is an opening under the silver platform that would allow liquid in, but You would have to practically submerge the scale in coffee to reach that.
The membrane switches on the Kitchen Tour are soft-touch, they don’t require extra force to operate. Much better than the weightman or apexstone.
