As you can see from the link my nightstand was already busy and small spaced for the PC speakers (and they were small and cheap but Ok sounding PC speakers) I was using.
I actually was not considering the Soundbar at first - I was thinking of getting a shelf or even a new headboard for the bed that has a bookshelf kind of design and then by accident as I was looking for speakers I ran across soundbars that had wall mounting capabilities (I was searching under wall mounted speakers on Amazon) so I mounted the soundbar direct to the wall - right over the bed so over me in bed. The soundbar even came with those plastic wallboard anchors and the screws.
This is the soundbar I purchased (it was a good price also at under $50).
