Amazon started the $50 purchase requirement when unscrupulous people started requesting monetary payments for their reviews.
However, you can offer several locations for reviewers to place their reviews. Amazon, Goodreads, and Bookbub. If they haven't met the Amazon requirement, then the other two sites, being free, are perfect for them to post reviews. Make sure you have registered as an author on each site, and your book is up on your page.
The first way you can add reviews NOT on Amazon is at the end of the blurb.
Readers Comments:
List the most pertinent parts of their review. If you have 3 or more, you're golden.
If you have more reviews than those listed as Reader's Comments, go back to your Amazon Author page select (at the top left of page) Books, select the book you want (ebook and paperback have to be done separately) to add some editorial reviews. Copy the parts of the review that is most important, not the whole review. add the reviewer's first initial & last name, comma where it came from, (Goodreads, Bookbub, a bookBlog, etc.)
To get a good feel for what it should look like, take a peek at Brant's. she has several books, and each one is slightly different, but the idea is the same; use the space they give you for your needs.
