The Aura looks like it's smaller and lighter, with the same size screen. I'm looking at it seriously, particularly because I'm not a fan of being locked into Kindle's ecosystem.

The Aura's killer features for me so far are its PDF support, multi-touch, and the ability to side-load fonts. I don't know if the Kindle has any of those, however. The Kindle's chief advantages for me are the 3G option and the easy integration with the Amazon store, which has cheaper prices than Kobo's store.
