It’s a pretty simple procedure. They just cut open your scrotum and remove the balls, then sew the incision back up. They clean everything within an inch of your chromosomes before they start cutting.

I use a clipper called the “Ballber” for that area. It’s the only one I’ve found so far that doesn’t cut me frequently.

Really good questions, thank you!

I won't have stitches or staples near my pubic area, but I did think about the flexibility problem. I can reach now (even though slightly overweight) but I doubt I'll be able to while recovering from surgery. I fear that if I shave I'll have painful re-growth right when I'm recovering and can't reach to do anything about it. That said, I found this device (which is for men but has good reviews from women) and it has the added advantage of being able to shave when swiped in either direction. You can see it in the video. I wondered if this would allow me to attack any prickly hairs even when I'm recovering.

I didn't realize that waxing would give me 5-8 weeks before I'd experience regrowth. I have 10 weeks between my first two surgeries, and since you have to have some growth to re-wax (correct?) I guess I can plan to wax before both the first and the second.

Are there any home waxing kits that are at all effective? I can't imagine going somewhere to have this done. I was injured by someone waxing my eyebrows, so I can't imagine letting a technician have access to my vulva! I know people do this all the time, but if I could avoid it I would like to.

Thank you so much for helping me think this through!
