Got any source for that? I've read that ascorbic acid is often used in the treatment of dialysis patients, I cant imagine that we would be using it medically without it being proven science at this point. I'm not opposed to using a catalytic carbon filter but I'm working with limited space and I'd like to avoid having to reconnect and store this filter and hose anytime I refill my water. Would a single filter suffice? https://www.amazon.com/Pentek-ChlorPlus-Carbon-Filter-Cartridge/dp/B0051VC7CW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2DAPEFU1UZ5QK&keywords=chloramine+filter&qid=1644135358&sprefix=chloramine+%2Caps%2C1473&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNUhFTzkyMEk3RU40JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjM1OTI3MzVNNDdWUjZBRDdRRCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTYxOTI3MzdQMzVXMTkyUVdCSCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

Just trying to do this right but not break the bank with some $300 RO filter system nonsense.
