I'm looking into using an WS2812B strip w/ a raspberry pi. This would be my first go at using addressable LED strips.
So from what I gather, I don't want to power the LED strip directly from the pi, lest I release the magic smoke.
I'm considering using a dual port USB power bank for powering both the pi and the LED strip, since both need 5v. I found a USB to terminal block adapter and I was wondering if I could use something like this to do the job of powering the LED strip.

I imagine I'm only going to power at most 4ft of strip, so shouldn't be a LOT of amps?
Thoughts?
