I bought this and it's tall enough for pull ups and to use my rings for dips. It's a little short to use the rings for pull ups unless I change how I hang my legs (usually doing hollow body pull ups). I use the rings for rows too.
Edited to add, probably best used with weights stored on it to keep it from shaking I store my plates that I use on it. Another plus is you can eventually get a barbell and more plates and do squats off it.
