I free roam my rabbits in my bedroom! What works best for me is: - A washable carpet - Short gates along baseboards (Prevue Pet Products Multi-Color Small Pet Playpen 40090 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003SZSVCI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_xJxLR5yzndq7B) - 2 Litterboxes (they don’t use a cage at all) - No accessible things to get under (blocked off under drawers, bed)

I’d definitely suggest the carpet most of all! It can hurt your bun’s hips in the long-run to not have traction when running around.
