You have to be careful about Zojirushi, I have a Zojirushi NS-TSC10 that was not cheap, and it is made in China.

Meanwhile, my Cuckoo CR-0351F was half the price and made in Korea. But Cuckoo also has some popular models made in China like the CR-0655F.

I also have an older Tiger rice cooker with the old school Asian flower pattern made in Japan.

With rice cookers as with everything else, you can't just trust that a brand makes everything outside of China. You have to verify.
