Lol Thanks! Honestly I just bought a couple of different needles and decided to go for it. It had to be earlier this year when I started coming across punch needle on YouTube and I thought I would give it a try after watching some videos. So after months, I finally tried a couple of pieces. For the ‘dope’ piece, I printed the image and traced it using a light pad/box from amazon that I already had. And for the other piece, I just randomly drew those sections and punched. I’ve bought a punch needle set from walmart, one from hobby lobby and two needle set from amazon. I just wanted to try a variety of sizes so getting so many isn’t necessary; however, I didn’t pay too much for them. I’ve bought monks cloth from walmart (its an ok choice for using a large punch needle), which is the fabric I used for the colorful piece. The punch needle cloth for ‘dope’ came from amazon. I’m not sure if it’s true monks cloth but it worked great for my smaller punch needles and I’m fine with using it. There are quite a few good tutorials for punch needle on YouTube so that will give you some guidance but to be honest, it’s not hard...the only thing you have to worry about is stabbing yourself with the needle but then that will depend on how you hold your frame. You should definitely go for it. It’s totally relaxing. I plan to make my hubby an ottoman/pouf for when he’s gaming.

BTW - I used embroidery thread for the ‘dope’ piece and worsted weight yarn for the other (I’m a crocheter so I have tons).
