So if anyone is interested - YES there is a v2 of Landroid- and the model number is different.

I have the WR150 and the latest model is the WR155 for the "L" 1/2 acre model. And YES- the charging connectors look like they are higher. Here are some pics:

The new one has more agressive tires too. (Mine after these years are turning into little nubs- wore them right down.)

So it is a WARNING- if you buy a new base, it's for the new model- not the old one and the paddles are too high... You'll either need to bury the base about an inch or put something to raise the landroid about an inch.
