I bought a cheapo USB 3.0 HDD to enable my pi headless pi as a home server last year, but lately is failing a lot (I store files from radarr, sonarr, nextcloud, and a few docker images etc, the usual...) this is the state the drive gets a few times a day:
This is the drive: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VJ79QZ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o09\_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
I need to reboot so I can get the pi to boot without mounting the drive, then check the drive for errors, mount it again and reboot so I can recover access into it, also, lately I have to do it several times a day. The question is:
Should I uninstall some services to prevent the problem or buy a new drive which is more suited for the task?
